this one look's like it has a lot of potential !!!

short bed

AND IT HAS THE FENDER FOR THE SPARE TIRE

look's pretty solid too , all you would have to do to strip the paint of is take it to the car wash look's like they did not even sand it

LOVE THE FENDER MOUNTED SPARE ON THE STEPSIDE'S

I have a thing for the side mount spare. My 69 fender was hard to find. I bet that 67 fender with the cutout is super hard to find.

Don't worry folk's this big wheel thing is like a kidney stone IT WILL PASS ! MAN I HOPE SO......

its ok, that fender mounted spare deal... you can get rid of it easily, just needs a new fender.

I don't mind to a point 16,17,18 even. The 22 and 24 start to get disproportional to the truck in my opinion. Sorta like one of those crazy Hotwheel cars. I like the side mount spare tire and some don't. It is all personal preference which is the great thing about restoring an old vehicle. Its your personal canvas.

while I am not 100% certian, I do believe the "big wheel craze" started after the 69 camaro named 'Big Red' set some records... and the pro touring thing started to catch on. Then the compact tuner gang kinda took it and ran. However, depending on one's definaition of "big wheels", the OEMs have been doing 16 inch (non HD truck) since the late 80's...
15 inch rubber is already starting to be limited in brands and models. They are slowly headed in the same direction of 16.5 tires, 13 and 14 inch rubber is going the same direction too.
It's all personal preference.

It`s all a stupid fad.All the above mentioned tire/wheel sizes that are being forced out of existence to make way for silly new sizes work flawlessly (better than hoops) and have done so for 60 years or so.Reinventing the wheel for the sake of vanity makes no sense.Allowing the option?That`s fine,it`s a free world.But,shove the tried and true to the wayside?That`s idiotic. I`ve left Maryland,drove all over the country,down through Mexico,and back to Maryland w/o ever giving a thought to my 15" tires.They seemed to do the job just fine.And people complimented me on the good looks all along the way.

I was mainly talking about the overall car market. The 15" tire was the biggest you could get(except HD truck) for cars, trucks and vans. Then in 84 came the Vette and T/A with the 16" Then in the early 90's the 17" and then about 97 the 18 on the Vette. Since then its almost exponential. 20,22,24 and even bigger. They will keep getting bigger till they are not usable anymore. I have seen a mid 80's Cutlass with 24's on it that had to back up 3 times to get in a parking spot because he couldn't turn the car sharp enough. THAT IS STUPID.
