i thought of getting one once, but the stereo imaging would be all off. i dont think i could live with most of the sound coming from the back, but it would be an easy way to get more speakers if you're not that concerned with imaging. is it paintable?

ive thought about getting one but on a student budget the mechanical aspect is more important. as i recall it is paintable but i also think it is molded plastic and in my experience plastic is a pain to paint

i had one in my truck and my advice is, no no no no no no no no! its sucks ass!! its cheap, the sound sucks, its looks ugly, and its not stock whatsover, if your worried about cutting the dash but you want music, put it in the glovebox

69mychevy that pretty much sums it up, I was going to ask how they fit, but doesn't sound good, do think theres some way they can improve it? I kind of like the idea of it

man i really don't think so, i'll tell you the first thing i did when i got my truck, pull that damn thing out i hated it, it seems like its a good idea but its not, you have trouble looking up to change the station, and the speakers are right by your ears that sucks too, i would say you've got two options
1. this is the if you don't mind cutting the dash or doors, cut the dash and the doors lol, a speaker a door and a deck in the dash i did it and its not bad at all
2. get kicker panels with speakers already in them and put the deck in the glovebox

I got the deck in the glove box right now and speakers in the doors, the deck in the glove box is a little bit of a pain, but it will have to do,I'm a wimp, I just can't bring myself to cut the dash, like you said the headliner looks like a great idea, but doesn't sound too great.

you can order them for there or any other cheesy automotive accesory like stick on chrome tape, illuminated toggle switches, looney toons accesories, cheap fog lights, illuminated exhaust tips, Jensen stereo equipment, stick on bumper guards, chain link steering wheels, or anything used to "cheapen" up your vehicle
