Re: up to you!!!! but.....
It is nearly impossible to make that flat black into white. The bodylines will just blend into a blob.

Hey CUZICAN, if you do some foot work and find a picture of a white truck and a wht/blu truck that is at the same angle I would love to help you out.
I know they are out there because I have shoped some of them in the past. I looked threw my pictures and must of deleted all of them. |

Re: up to you!!!! but.....
this is how I do it , I trace around the bottom of the truck and the entire background. Than I lower the background with the truck. See the red line on the attached picture?

Re: up to you!!!! but.....
dude i love those rims and the truck, personally i like the flat black but to make it a little more cleaner you could go with a satin black and do an eggshell finish its flat but glossish looking at the same time haha

Re: up to you!!!! but.....
I do the same as Desertrat .. On these Photoshop jobs look really close at the angle and relationship of the curb lines vs the street for example. We're really not bringing the truck lower to the ground .. we're bringing the ground closer to the truck.
But, yes .. That's how I do it too. Just so you guys have it, there is also a free tool online. http://pixlr.com/editor This is what I use. It has the same look and feel as Photoshop without all the bloat and system resources. You don't have to download anything. Totally free, but it just doesn't have some of the fancy stuff you can do with Photoshop. Also, you have to think in layers. In his example above .. lets say I cut that top layer (everything in red) and make that Layer 1. Open the same picture again as another layer, .. then move Layer 1 around on layer 2, etc. At times I can get 6-7 layers going to make them look right. This is why guys will usually ask you for a picture without a lot of junk around it, not a lot of stuff going on in the background, etc. If you start moving fence lines and stuff it can make the picture look a little eskewed. Hope this helps. Chad
