I was told to come here for help about an LT1 in an 87 Suburban

I want to know if it is possible to put a 1994 LT1 out of a Corvette into my 1985 Subruban (auto/ 2WD w/ replacement carb. 350). What would need to be done? It has A/C. I heard something about notching the frame for the compressor. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I think you will indeed need to notch the frame on the right front to clear the A/C compressor. Did you post this in the 73-87 board? There are a couple guys there that may not read the 'burb board that have LT1's in their vehicles.
