New Grocery Getter 56 3600 "Dwight"

Gents, I picked up a clean 56 3600 to fart around town in while I build the C4 suspension LS 58 in the garage.

He has a vintage camper, complete interior, minimal rust, nice straight panels all over, and a frozen 350 I'm working on getting to turn over by hand.

His name is Dwight, after Dwight Schrute, from the color often seen on Dwight in the show "The Office"

Plans are to get it running and take it to home depot, and stay off the freeway. Anyone in Northern California happen to have front leaf springs that will fit? One side snapped while towing.

If someone remotely close by is thinking of doing a suspension swap on their 3200 and you have some good brakes/springs/etc... I'm your guy.

Re: New Grocery Getter 56 3600 "Dwight"

Well, I've found another truck that I've wanted for a long time, so in anticipation of bringing it home, Dwight will have to be a fun project for someone else.

I wish I had more space, these 7.5ft trucks look awesome with campers! I'll be posting it for sale in that section of the forum.

Onward and upwards!
