Take 1988 headlights and install in a 1997?

I always liked the quad headlights of the 88-89 vs the euro style headlights on my 97. Typical body parts like hood, grille and fenders all look the same from 88 to 98.

Has anyone swapped older headlights into a later 90's truck?

yes, did it on my 90. you need the headlight pig tails off the quad lights. then cut your euro headlight plug off and splice the quad one on. the rest is all direct bolt on.

Did you swap out the grille too or just the light items?

No need to swap the grill they all are made to fit the quads around the lights....

you should do not need to swap grills the lights will fit. this is my red 90 chevy that had a gmc grill from a 97 in it no mods for the headlights.
