DIY4X Engine crossmember

I used this engine cradle in my 72 K/30 extended cab truck, was only in it for less than a year before I dismantled the truck. These things work great and it was a breeze to install while the motor was still in the truck. Fits all 67 to 72 4x4 frames and will also work on 2 wheel drive frames when converting to 4x4. 150.00 plus shipping

Re: DIY4X Engine crossmember

Sorry I had trouble posting pics before, hopefully these work. It looks like a box would be about 25" x 11" x 7" and weigh about 25 pounds

Re: DIY4X Engine crossmember

I assumed the crossmember was the current version where the bottom hoop is removable, i can’t use this one.

Re: DIY4X Engine crossmember

Still for sale....Just to clarify that this is the first dedign and doesnt have the drop out center. The drop out center only allows you to remove the oil pan in the truck without removing the complete crossmember, it does not allow any more clearance for other motors...other than the drop out they are the same. This first design will do the same thing but you have to support the engine from above when removing pan, remove 8 nuts and it drops right out of the way and allows more room than the second dedign.
