Re: project blue sparks

this was my daily driver for 2yrs, but living in the northeast really took its toll on the entire truck and everything started going wrong with it...finally my 327 sbc decided to blow up on me while driving one night and that made my decision to tear it all apart and create the truck i always wanted to have. so it began.....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=257455

Re: project blue sparks

after i started the frame at my buddies house it was then time for me to make a huge move in my life that meant i had to put the truck on the back burner...i bought a house and luckily it has an oversized 2-car garage with a loft so i am now in the process of remodeling my garage into a shop for myself.....in the next two months i will be purchasing a compressor from tractor supply and a used tig welder, install some 220v power out there and get everything organized so i can just go to town on my truck for this whole year...sorry this is so long but i just wanted to bring anyone that was interested upto date......

Re: project blue sparks

lol..and some more....over the winter i have been able to collect parts so i can just work on my truck every night or weekend without having to wait to long for parts or other hard to find things that i wanna include into my truck....i went to jersey to purchase another 1/2 ton rolling chassis with coil springs and drum brakes with a big windowed cab that was 70% restored and a bed which is not in bad condition...along with 6 doors, 5 fenders, 3 hoods, 67 grille, 2 69-72 grilles, steering column with steering wheel from a 68 c-10, a lot of taillight lenses and headlights...new carpet and all new weatherstriping for the doors and window channel...i bought this all for 700 bucks, then just last week i came across a 59 impala dash that i am going to graft into the cab of my truck, im trying to post the picture but i am having trouble uploading it because it is to big...can anyone help me out?
