Which intake 7.4L Vortec?

What options for an intake do I have if I want to run a carb, or aftermarket fuel injection on my 7.4L Vortec? I did not get the computer or the wiring harness, or the throttle body for the original set up, so I figured I would either carb it, or maybe install an aftermarket fuel injection set up.

Put in a bunch of filters over at Summit

if its a Vortec 7.4 its a mark VI, the filters i have are for carburated dual plane intakes. You didn't list your cyl head port configuration, so you can narrow it down some more. (or less by deselecting things). I'm sure others will chime in, but it'd be easier to advise if we knew your goals (racing, towing, 4x4 etc.)

Thank you for your response. It's a Vortec motor, so it has the oval port vortec heads. Just wanting a driver. Not a race truck, or anything like that. The motor will be a stock vortec big block, just won't have the factory induction system on it. Maybe down the road, once it is up and running, I would think about upgrades to the motor. I will check out Summit, and see what they have to say too.

Edelbrock, and Whipple each make a kit, belt driven any where from 6 to 14 pounds manifold pressure, depends on pulleys, exhaust restriction, air temp, etc.
