Solid first day. Looks like he’s driven about 650 miles so far.

Had the GPS ping rate at every 30 minutes but changed to Hourly so we can do our best to have the battery make it all the way here.

Each star represents a GPS ping.

Glad to see he’s heading east!

I'm in!
I almost used a shipper once for a cross country run of two trucks a few years ago, but I chickened out and decided to fly to them and drive home. Bought a plane ticket, trailer, and gas for only a little more than the cost to ship two vehicles. Ended up spending about $3000 for the trip, but got a $2,100 trailer that I still use now and then. Plus, I was able to keep the trucks in eyesight at all times, so it worked for me. Good luck with the truck, it looks great.

I did consider flying out and trailering it back, but we estimated it would cost about 3,000 and a week away from the kiddos. So now I’m spending $1,409 and getting to watch the move from the comfort of my couch. ;-)

They should go 40 east to 81 north depending on what other destinations he has. But maybe split off 40 in Oklahome city towards Tulsa. Please let us all know where it is. 650 miles a day is nothing for a truck hauling cargo... now that speed limit is 75 out west anyway. You must be excited to get your truck. Hope it's a speedy trip for you and your truck. Pretty.cool idea.

The distance between pings there in New Mexico indicate the guy was hauling @ss compared to the beginning of the trip!

From PHX to Flag is all uphill. ~1100 MSL to 7000 MSL.
Was the pinger on a half-hour setting for that leg?

I have been going between 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and one hour pings. To save on battery life I’m mostly on one hour but occasionally shifting to every 30 minutes.

That seems extremely reasonable for the distance it's going. Where are you picking it up? At your home or a terminal?

Unfortunately I couldn’t find anyone that would bring it to Long Island, NY thanks to all the bridges and traffic so I’m meeting the guy in Fort Lee, NJ. It’s about 35 miles from me or several hours by car (traffic depending).

Several hours to go 35 miles. Darn that's a long time here in NM. Would take about 20 minutes. Guess you all back in New York get lousy mileage. From sitting there idling. 4 core radiator will be in store for you. LOL.

If you were pinging at 1 hour intervals, the Driver must've been hitting every biker bar on I-17 for a quick pint.

I shipped mine using Uship and the app allowed me to track my shipper from WV down to here. I never asked if it was linked to his phone or if uship required him to carry a tracker with him. Uship was awesome. Very happy with how it all went down.

I booked through Montway which went as expected - I wish they offered the tracking.
