I have since found that a pizza box opened up will catch most of the oil.

There have been some good storys show up on this thread but Andy the one where you passed out from blowing and another guy was dizzy. That was hilarious!

My wifes uncle tells the story that he had a small fire develope in the dash of one of his cars. He calmly pulled over turned off the ignition exitied the car and Urninated on the dash to put out the fire. He then got back in the car turned to his passenger and suggested that they should turnaround and head back home. The car started and ran fine back to his house.

I agree with the extinmguiser thing and my question is why doesn't the manufactures include small extinguisher with the vehicles?

I'm glad that the thought of me blue in the face and twitching in the grass brought amusement to you. (I intended it to, and it is true too)
The auto companies want you to believe that you'll never have a problem with your $25,000 new car. (remember when a house cost that much?) If you saw a big red bottle by the cup holder, that would imply that it could catch fire...that = bad sales.
Just like my dad always said never buy a car with hoist hooks on the engine...the manufacturer plans on the motor coming out.
