Can you tell me more about the tail lights. Where can I buy the materials to make my own. I want to do front turn signals also. I've had a hard time finding the basic light fixture or led's or lens material. Every one has complete light kits but not the do it yourself stuff.

I have some templates for the holes. The material is regular old acrylic, which is then CNC'd to the appropriate dimensions. I have a pair of "flat" red lenses that used to be in the truck before I did the current ones. I also have a "complete" matching amber front kit that's still on my old bumper if you're interested. The fronts are 4" long, amber, and have buckets that go on the back to hold an 1157 bulb. Bulb and pigtail is there as well. The only thing that you'd have to provide are the mounting studs, which you weld to the bumper. The mounting studs are welded to my current bumper, so they're not really reusable, though I could cut them off and ship them with the other parts. Let me know if you're interested, and we can go from there.

Here's an audio clip of the exhaust at idle. System is modified Clifford headers with 2.25" outlets that converge into a Y-pipe that's 2.5" on the outlet side, then back to a Flow 40 series, and then out to the tip. Truck does not sound like a 6-banger.

It sounds more 6-like when you get on it (it feels like a 6 going over the hill into San Mateo every day ). The recording above was on my Treo, and when I try to do record any throttle blips, the extra sound pressure overruns the craptastic microphone... so... no other audio at this point.

Wow, that's pretty subtle even side by side. In the second pic, I've done a pie cut of the rearmost part of the fender and pulled it down. I think this will further reduce the "full diaper" look that the back end of the truck has been struggling with.

Have you thought about getting the front of the fender flare to 'lean back' more so to speak, so it's not so upright on the leading edge. Suppose you could pie cut the front side.

More screwing around. Shortened the fenders lengthwise (whole photo actually cuz I suck at this), and then did your pie cut idea a bit more, and also leaned the back of the fenders forward some. Gives them a much nicer shape that works more with the shapely nature of the '67.

Now, whether or not any of this is feasible, I don't know. But, it sure is purty

what would i look like if you leaned the rear part of the fender forward to match the angle of the front fenders, and kept the
extra length at the bottom

The only part I've ever considered leaning forward was the "tailgate" area, but actually, I think it needs some 3-dimensionality more than it needs angle.

You know I did something similar with my 61. Same end result, but the 55-66 fenders hang much lower in the rear so I removed material from the rear to create the same kick-up. You will need to get some lower rear patch panels for the arch area (or cut up spare fenders).
