I don't know. But I really like the Edelbrock cup holder. Not kidding. I might do this.

Some nice looking seats, i'm trying to decide on a cover from a vendor or having the upholstery shop do the whole thing. pro's and cons ect..

I have new foam in mine. My neighbor is a designer/cutter for a local foam shop. they do high quality foam for marine and rv's. They dont normal do truck seats, but he cut mine special with slightly raised ends and the center is raised as well to give it a custom (bolster) look (even though you cant tell from the pic). My only problem was. He copied the exact thickness of my old stock foam, but when it was installed in the truck, it sat to high. although very comfortable to sit on the seat did not compress like the stock foam. Therefor the seat sat up about 1-2 inches higher. I made some custom brackets so were all good now, but something to be aware of. Although I got the "Buddy discount" he said a piece of good quality foam like the size I got would have been a couple hundred bucks. I didn't know this at the time but there are many different foam density's which effect not only the cushion but the wear and/or the life of the foam. There are many price levels in foam as well.
so I guess if you want to control what kinda foam you have in your seat, check with a upholsterer.

when i re-did mine the foam was just a little tired, i wrapped the old foam with some dacron and it was better than new. did it with myself, not to hard

How does this fit width wise in the truck? How comfortable would you say this setup is with regard to a factory column and/or wheel?

Re: show photos of your bench seats

Hey folks, here's a picture of the bench that I took out and the 40/20/20 bench setup I got out of an early 2000's Chevy (I later put on the plastics that cover the rails for each side)

Way more comfortable, has the center console/jump seat and cup holders

Re: show photos of your bench seats

Do you guys have a pretty good amount of room in your trucks? I got my seat redone this summer and when I put it back in I could barely get into the truck because my thighs would hit the steering wheel. I purchased a 15" steering wheel, but I still hit it a lot with my thigh... I'm a 19 yr old college kid who weighs 160 and 5'10", the guy who redid my seat put a lil too much foam in the driver's side...so much that if I sit straight and take a deep breathe my head hits the ceiling... Ya...it sucks. There's a good 600 wasted huh?

Re: show photos of your bench seats

I forget to ask what a good measurement would be from the bottom of the steering wheel straight down to the top of the seat would be. I can't remember what mine is right now...I'll check it tom hopefully.

Re: show photos of your bench seats

Here's my basic stock bench and ratty interior.

If you haven't already decided, my vote is to go with a bench seat - my kids love it and fight over who gets to sit in the middle.
