Yes we really need to know more. I used a modified G-body frame (similar to and S-10) for my 48 and I used some shorty ceramic coated headers by Patriot that I purchased from Summit Racing. They were inexpensive and worked great for my application.

Aren’t LT1 heads D ports? If so you need the correct headers for those. I’ve got a ZZ4 and bought the stainless DPort block huggers from speedway. I’m running a mustang ii

Can I ask which ones you ended up going with for your 58? Currently have block huggers and the lower steering joint hits the down tube off the headers collector (had to dent the down tube for clearance, not my first choice).

Re: 1954 chevy truck 350 LT1 headers

I just watched an episode of Iron Resurrection where they dealt with this exact issue - LS3 in an AD truck. They had to change the headers for clearance but since I don't have an LS I didn't note exactly which headers they used. Easy enough to catch the episode on Velocity channel.
