Folding Jack Handle

Found another folding jack handle in the parts stash while searching for something else. Really need to do a complete look thru and get an idea of just what I do have. 'Course I think about this now with winter approaching, LOL.

Jack handle measures 47'' on the straight leg when assembled with the slide collar. 54'' total length from tip to tip, 29'' when folded. Rivet pin has some wear but not sloppy loose. $20 plus shipping, money order, do not have Paypal.

Re: Folding Jack Handle

If the the measurements of the end that goes into the jack are roughly around 1 1/4" x just under a 1/2", would you do $25 shipped to 31061?

Those are the measurement's I just took from the jack on my 63

Re: Folding Jack Handle

Seems to measure just about an 1'' and a bit under 1/2'' in the width of the tip that goes into the jack. Any jack handles I have seen are all the same at the operating tip end. Shipping to Milledgeville, Ga. 31061 is just under $13 USPS Parcel. Would do $28 to your door, shipping is what it is, will drop the price to $15 plus $13 shipping if wanting it.

Re: Folding Jack Handle

That will work for me. Hopefully I won't have to use it, but if I do, I'll be glad it's there.

Please send me payment details and I'll figure out how to do a money order.

Thanks,
Christian

Re: Folding Jack Handle

Hey Gary, the handle showed up yesterday. I didn't even realize that the handle kinda "clips" in to the jack so you can move it around and such. It works great with my jack, so now I hope I'll never need it on the side of the highway

Thanks again!!

Re: Folding Jack Handle

Thanks for letting me know the jack handle arrived and your pleased with it. I have one in my '71 4x4 and over the years have been lucky enough to only have to use it ONCE but was sure glad I did have it. I also carry a flat piece of 1/4'' steel under the seat in case the ground is a bit soft to keep the jack from sinking in.

Thanks for that tip about the flat piece of steel. I think I have a piece that would be great for that somewhere in the garage. I'll have to go looking for it
