72 sub 4x4.

I was trying to replace the brake booster on my 72 four wheel drive. They had two different ones at the pArts stores around here and neither was right. Mine has front disks and rear drums. The master cylinder is a large rectangular one. Put on a different setup just to get by but would love to have the right one. Only seen a used one on ebay and it looked worse than mine. Help me. Somebody please send me a link where i could match up the right one and buy it.

Welcome to the forum!
Show us a picture of what you had for a booster and MC.

Have you checked the vendors? There are quite a few vendors on this forum that will be very helpful in your situation.

Pretty close. The booster looks right maybe but the master cylinder is wrong. Does yours have discs?

72 GMC K2500 front dics, drum rear. Actually that booster amd master cylynder has been replaced since that picture. Bought from Auto Zone or Advanced.....can pull receipt if you need it. Bladder in booster was toast and would not keep vacuum.

Mine is 3/4 ton, 4X4, disc front and drum rear. With the newly rebuilt one, Auto Zone gave me a lifetime warranty too.
