I've had my 80 for about a year and a half now, got about 2 - 3 thousand into it, and it looks worse on the outside than when I bought it Inside and underhood look reaaal nice though (you know where my priorities lie now, lol)

I just bought a 74 on Thursday for it's rather nice body. I'll be playing Dr. Frankenstein with them and making a real nice truck outta the two of them

I'm the third generation owner of my truck in my family. Grandpa bought it used about 1974, then dad bought it from him a year or so later. After several years of wood and garbage hauling duty, I kind of took it over about 1982. My 8 yr old son now has proclaimed his future rights to the truck. Maybe I'll get it painted by then. I'm about 5-6 grand into it now. Needs some minor body work and major paint.

These are for Longhornman:
Here's some more pics of "rusty". After carefully dissecting the bed with a cut-off wheel, I found the homemade gooseneck thing. Hideous at best. It had to go. I also pressure washed and sandblasted the frame before priming and painting. I also rebuilt the wheel cylinders and replaced the cracked-to-pieces brake shoes. I also replaced the springs, and have new shocks. I also installed a receiver hitch. As you can see the pass. bed side will be a challenge.....

I don't know what it is about that green, but I love it. I've had a few people look at it, and ask if I was going to paint it a different color.... I plan on making it as close as the original color as possible. Too many blue, red, butterscotch, and black trucks out there.....

My Granddad got it in '78, quit driving it in '96, and I got it last september '03. So I've had my 70 C/20 for a little over a year. Never gonna get rid of it either.

My Dad bought this 70 4x4 from the original owner in 72. He "offically" gave it to me in 1995. I had the tranny rebuilt in 92, and put in a GM 350 crate motor in 98. Other than brakes, u-joints, wheels & tires, and the obvious cab corner, door and rocker repairs, it is original. After the 68 is done and all back together, this one is slated for the next frame-off!

We lovingly call her Goldie.

I got it yesterday. A 69 longbed without an engine or tranny. Rescued it from a tow yard that was getting ready to send it to the wrecking yard. Only cost $50. Has two core engines in the bed. Body's in pretty good condition, only needs some rockers and a few dents knocked out. It is missing all the side trim, and the windshield is cracked. I'll get some pics tomarrow and post them.

My 70 K15, about a month now. My grandfather bought it new in the fall of '69. It has 58000 miles and no rust (did I say no rust) It was stored in his shop and driven a couple times a year. So the headache has just started. Things are rotten. about $1000 and its still on jackstands. Im scared to keep looking. I just wanna cruise in it.
