Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
I'm not much for lonnnng trucks but that one looks pretty good for it's age. A cab that big really needs A/C. And a big block would be appropriate for the weight. Other than that it looks ready to go.

Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
I have always found the Scott Bilt trucks pretty cool. I wish they would have put alittle more effort into the cab configuration and execution. Front doors on the rear of the truck just don't look all that appealing. Pretty interesting truck!

Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
I’d put a 205 and a front Dana 60 under it and rock the heck out of it.

Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
I've always been a fan of the quirky vehicles, but not this one. I get that its a purpose built rig though and wasn't going for style points.

It is definitely different, in an ugly duckling but way sweet way. Couldn't loose it in a parking lot that is for sure.

Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
Is it ochre or yellow or something way different? A white top maybe?

Re: Original 72 crew cab f/s
I really like it as opposed to the hacked up suburbans. Being a bodyman by trade I'd have to fix the rust which looks like it all can be saved no areas I haven't worked on before. Then, I'd rock it until the engine dies then, upgrade it with a 6.0 LQ4 engine and a zf6 manual tranny and, you're good to go.
