1988-93 seats

I was wanting to have me seat redone. I was told today the 1988-93 seats can't be recovered. What have some of you run into and done?

88-94 seats can be covered. You can buy upholstery from stockinteriors.com. The 95+ trucks have the fabric glued to the foam.

Those seats covers are heat laminated to the foam. Stock Interiors do have the replacement covers, but this is what it says about the covers:

The 1988 and newer models have some of the original seat upholstery heat laminated to the foam making it very difficult to remove the old upholstery. Our seat kits for these models do not require the removal of this laminated upholstery. Our sets will go right over the original and hog ring where the original seat cover is attached.
Hope this helps
