Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

Was the contrasting color an option with side molding or was it the same color as the top of the cab ?

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

I know a guy that bought a 63 with all options brand new. It was solid white but he added red later.....

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

I am not sure on the paint code and trim option on these trucks as I am on the 67-72 trucks. I am sure there are some 60-66 guru's out there that could answer that question. I like the trim options that's one reason I am putting this one set of patina trim on.

C50 C60 grille? Or Original aluminum grille? White c60 grille has awesome patina, white, black lettering and a little hint of green.

I say skinny whites with current stance but if it's getting bagged the wides would look awesome!! I've alre stated my opinion on the grille.....
Would you leave the chevrolet lettering on the c60?

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

Maddoxdb, I was just waiting to see how long it would take for the grill comment, lol, on aluminum grill. If I did c60 grille I would move the chevrolet part down to the bow tie emblem and bolt it in. I think your right on wide whites, I have to get it down as far I want it to go to see which white walls to do. I order my front disc brake kit and spindles today. This weekend will be to get ready for that stuff. Get bags in and prep and ready for the rest of the parts.

I vote for the c60 grille with the bowtie in it. Man I would love to find one of those down here somewhere.
