Gurgling Coolant
1992.
I discovered that whenever this happens the radiator is a little low. I assume this is allowing air to enter the heater hose at the top of the radiator but I thought coolant flows into the radiator at this point. I'm thinking of attaching this hose to the water pump as it was done in earlier years. Has anybody tried this? |

Re: Gurgling Coolant
My 98 does it in the summer time. Coolant is topped off. No idea why.

Re: Gurgling Coolant
It’s an altitude thing. Happened to me when I traveled out west. It’s mentioned in the owners manual as well.

Re: Gurgling Coolant
my current motor swap project has informed me that my heater core crapped out...so currently, mine is plumbed with the hose from intake into the top of rad, and nothing going through the heater core.
it doesnt have any over heat issues, idles and runs at 160 all day unless 100+ degress, then maybe 170 ish if it idles for a while. |
