TIlt Wheel Lock Washer
What size lock washer to retain steering wheel. All I can find are too thick to start the retaining nut.

Re: TIlt Wheel Lock Washer
Something is wrong. The washer is maybe .060 thick. The steering wheel should go on by hand further than this. Even if you got it started it would be easy to strip the nut. Possibly a not stock adapter? I recommend looking a little closer. Maybe posting some pictures would help sort this out.
Check this video out. Maybe this will help? Aftermarket steering wheel install on early GM splines, Chevy vehicles, Ididit, Flaming River. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1VP6FIvZto Rick Last edited by Accelo; 03-08-2021 at 10:27 AM. |
