Re: 66 springs

In my experience on half-ton, you can pull front springs and chop one coil out without any ill effects, 2 starts to cause alignment problems. On the rear, you need to buy new coils (chevy Duty, $100 pair). If you go past 3 inches, you will need a new pan-hard bar. I dropped rear to 3 inches, too high, 5 inches, too low, now I am shooting for 4 inches.

IMHO
