Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I do see appliance repair businesses. In fact, a long time appliance parts business is in Frederick 20 minutes away. We had a radio & TV repair shop in town when I moved here in '87. I just searched and, also in Frederick, there is one TV sales & service still

I'd watch showing such succulence (is that a word?) on the world wide web. Might create traffic problems and infrastructure overload for Montezuma. I'll be leaving here shortly, heading your way!

No pictures, but I assembled a weight lifting station for a friend's son's Christmas present

Come on over. I will make some homemade ice cream to go with them. Chocolate or Vanilla?

They're delicious just to look at. The ice cream is tempting. I hope you froze some peaches. Just like last winter when Covid created shortages, as soon as it spiked I haven't been able to get frozen peaches. Seriously. I don't know the cause, but I have bought them regularly for many years and never had this happen.

I was given a huge plate of home baked cookies by the woman who's house I am working on. And they are really good!!

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Went for an early morning Christmas drive on my Triumph 650 project bike and reached a signal about 5 miles from home in an out-of-the-way area. While I waited for the green light I noticed what looked like paper money sized objects in the street. It was money! A one dollar bill, then another, then a $20. I parked the bike and continued to look around and I found a $100, I scoured the entire area of the intersection and soon had my front pocket packed with bills. If a car came by I made sure they didn't see what I was finding or there would be competition and soon a mob.Drove home with a smile on my mug thinking this was a great Christmas and here is what it looks like (about $330);

Then I noticed that there is a president on both sides of the $100 bill. Same for all the others! Pretty good paper though. Print quality is ok but faded and worn from being out in the So.Cal sun apparently. There's been a rash of police chases around here lately, maybe this was ditched on the run. Going to the shredder in a few minutes. Was a nice ride anyway. -BA

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I smoked me up a ham in what I call, my 2 for heat, three for meat smoker...(1drawer for fire, 1 drawer for the water pan, 3 drawers for smoking meat) I then slathered it up with a brown sugar, honey glaze and slapped it under the broiler for a few minutes to set the glaze. Pretty good, if I do say so my self.

Smoked using small fresh cut green apple wood over larger seasoned apple wood.

Same here. I didn't use my vertical smoker, I used the offset grille. All afternoon. Since I had that grille going I did up some potatoes and broccoli special on the grille, too. The whole meal off the grille. I'm not sure I knew what I was doing, but I must say it all came out delicious. I got lucky

I did NOTHING! I have sciatic pain in my right leg. Worst it's ever been. Only behind the knee. Back has no pain at all. Everything I'd go to do I could see it wouldn't5 help the healing process, so I have mostly been sitting around. Not my style at all!

Are you sure it's not a torn Meniscus? I had one in my knee and it hurt like hell. It's an easy fix once you get through the insurance B.S. They'll give you the run around. But if I remember correctly (which I probably don't) I was fine in under a week after they operated on me. It's not much of an operation.

If you need any advice on how to just sit around. Let me know. I'm really good at it.

Mine tore in half and folded over. They had to lay my knee wide open to fix it. Took about 18 months to get back to normal. Going on 35 years ago.

Basically what I had Tim, only mine was in the hip. I hope you don't have to go down the road I did. I have never been to a Chiro but if I had it to do all over again I would try a Chiro first. I hope it just heals up on it's own.

I started going about once a month after I hurt my back (again!) last July cleaning out my mom's house.

Trouble is I keep hurting myself again like a couple days ago moving stuff around in my office

I have a lot of lumbar pain from all my years of logging

It's bogus. Funny money. Very poor counterfeit job with either a front on both sides or the back on both sides and no blue streak on the $100. Could probably be passed as real, but not by me!

Rented an insulation blower and blew in 49 bales of cellulose into the attic trusses of the garage/shop addition. Trusses have a nice space for storage. Now if only I could get the concrete contractor to show up and pour the floor!
