KS Tow Hooks - Hard To Find 81/87 One Ton - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Offering for sale a pair of very HARD TO FIND GM one ton tow hooks for the 81-87 model years. First found info on a set of these a few years ago, did not know of them prior. A board search gave me some info on them that referenced them as being used on the 1/2 ton,3/4 ton and on the optional one ton use. Part #s are 14029218 (RH) and 14029217 (LH) Each forged hook weighs a solid 4 1/2 lbs. Made with the same curve as the usual 81-87 tow hooks but use the larger square shank mounting and lower curve of the earlier 73-80 tow hooks. Matched them to the usually found 81-87 tow hooks and the bolt pattern is the same and also uses the same 9/16'' bolt. Bead blasted, primed and painted satin black. $135 shipped USPS Flat Rate Insured, money order, do not have Paypal.

These hooks are very heavy and mount to very same hole 9/16'' bolt hole pattern as the usually found 81-87 tow hooks.

Back up top, same bolt in design as the standard find 81-87 tow hooks but have the heavier construction of the 73-80 tow hooks. Would be a nice addition to your 4x4 and look great on a lifted frame.
