Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Any chance for anything semi-custom? I'm needing the EFI side fill tank, but instead of the 3/8" return, I'd need a 1/2" one. I'm running the EFI tank with a carb for the time being, so I want to make sure the return line will be large enough (-8) to not be restrictive enough to affect the pressure regulator.

The DD gauges can read almost any ohm reading, but I would go 0-90 since that is more of a GM standard.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Due to the usual response of this once a year sale, the build times on these tanks do take a little longer. It all depends on the amount of tanks sold during this sale. Boyd will work as fast as possible to build them, but could potentially be until the end of December or early January until they start to ship.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, and will report back with an actual ETA once the sales over and we have a final count.

- Travis

I have had a few with this problem as well, and not sure why this is happening. If you do order and ends up being full price, I will immediately refund the difference of the sale price vs. regular pricing.

Is this the kit? Will this work with an LT1 (1997) as well as an LS?
https://www.azproperformance.com/Pro...d-Welding.html

If so I may need to add it to my tank I just ordered.

I went through with the order to get mine in the queue and figured I would call you tomorrow if the price was still too high but it seemed to fix itself at checkout.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Thanks for all the orders and appreciate it very much. When the sale is over and we have a final count, Boyd will determine the build time on these tanks.

I am not sure what the LT1 requires for fuel pressure vs. the LS series engine. The LS usually are at about 58 PSI. I imagine it will have the same GM disconnect fitting at the fuel rail though. Not sure if you can just cap the return rail on those like you can the LS's either.

Just don't know enough about them.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Got mine yesterday. It is a work of art and way too nice to be hidden under a rusty old bed. Maybe I can go back to my mini-truck days and set up a hydraulic bed so people can see it

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Got mine this past Thursday. What a fine looking product. Can't wait to install it and connect on up to the soon-to-be-installed LS3. Thanks Travis for the group buy on the tanks.
