Alpine, MB Quart, what a combination

Just ordered a new 6 1/2" component set from MB Quart for the Silverado. Replacing the factory am/fm with an Alpine head unit. Then will be running the MB Quart components in place of the blown 4x10s. I am also replacing the dash speaker with a 4 inch component set as well. All running through an Alpine amp. This should make a huge difference in the sound quality. The neighbors will love it I'm sure. Will be in Maryland this weekend so I hope to get on it early next week.

A good crossthread is better than Loctite any day.

These are their high end line that are in my brothers Escalade. They are rediculously clear and they rock. Anything is better than the blown stock stuff. Ant they were FREE. Thats a pretty good deal I think. Thanks for the compliments though???

I've been rockin' MB Quarts for yars. An awesome speaker for sure. No matter what you hit them with it always sounds good. I had two sets in my truck before I switched over to Arc Audio. Just great speakers.

They've been owned by Maxxsonics for years now. They used to just relabel amps basically but things have gotten better. Also, don't fool yourself, Rockford builds a solid product. While it may not be as good as some, it will take a fair amount of abuse and still puts out decent sound for the $.

Re: Alpine, MB Quart, what a combination

I haven't dealt with Rockford for a few years so I don't know the quality now, but back in the day that was the only thing I rocked for Amps and Subs. $ for $ best Amp on the market. I still rock the Rockford DVC 12's from 1999 and they still hit as hard as they did when new.
