I voted driver, but that doesn't mean I don't have a little duct tape in a few spots. Hmm, maybe it is a beater!

where's the catagory for former daily driver, now parked waiting for funds to, how shall i put it, help it along to another 300,000 miles... still runs and runs great, but the little things have added up, rust, rotting exhaust, fluid leaks, shoddy wiring....

My stuff is always driver quality, but I don't do duct tape or bailing wire. It's fixed right or not at all. Everything works for sure and nothing leaks anything.

I voted Driver. This covers anything I own. They`re more like a cruiser that I`ll use on a regular basis as needed{wanted}for three seasons cuzza where I live.If I lived in an area kinder to bodies I`d only drive vintage, with at least one updated to diesel/overdrive.What am I doin`here?!!My bike fits your cruiser descrption to a "T".I love show trucks, but I`ve decided I`ll leave that to others.I`ve built a few,it`s out of my system for now.

Driver for 28 years, been freshened up a bit many years ago. Gets little TLC, but like a Timex it just keeps ticking...

I voted "driver" but it is barely that. Need to finish a/c and some body work and paint to get it to "cruiser" status. One of these days....

More than a beater, but I don't have to drive it....even though I love to drive it. It's definitely a work in progress, but it ain't no show vehicle. I guess it's really a beater-driver, if you look at it. Still, it's waaaaay better'n a beater, but the classifications just don't cover all the possibilities.

Good post.

I'd have to say the body of mine is in a decent "driver/cruiser" shape in primer, but since the tranny is blown and she don't go more than 20mph.... it's less than a beater

Mostly a driver, body probably would be classified as a beater, but with all mechanicals in very good condition, I drive it quite often

I quess I fall into the beater plus catagory.

Mine's a driver, that's for sure. But, it is definately clean and shiny and still gets more comments, thumbs-up and waves than I could have ever imagined! But, at the same time, it still needs a lot more work.

Good idea for a thread by the way. I don't think I have seen one like this in the 3 or so years I have been coming.
