GMC and Chevrolet

What is the difference between 72 GMC front fenders and 72 Chevrolet front fenders?

Re: GMC and Chevrolet

67 Chevy and 67 GMC are the same
68 Chevy and 68-72 GMC are the same
69-72 Chevy are the same

Take a look at the LMC truck catalog or the parts board. You will see the difference.

Re: GMC and Chevrolet

The GMC fender is smooth at the front where the grille extension mounts and the front of the Chev fender is "notched" or inset where the grille surround goes over the fender.

Re: GMC and Chevrolet

, main part of chevy grill is one piece in '72, whereas the '72 GMC grill has trim pieces on the fenders. Like wancosc356 said, the colored grill pics in LMC will show you the difference.
