'68 chevy LWB/ ebay :)

Found this on e-bay, the advertising didn't help sell this truck last time around, maybe this time will?

THIS IS NOT MINE

We all know that it is really yours, and you hired that beauty to help it sell

Hope you get rid of it

Are you talking about the truck or the chick?

If I ever sold my truck with that kind of advertisement, I would hire somebody that it would sell, heck I'd even throw in the chick as a bonus hehehe

It was put on salvage title because the wiring was a mess when I got it and the previous owner had back registration due

Is this a true senerio. Here in AZ, when you buy a truck you start new, not paying someone elses fines. Also I think a salvage titled vehicle would be worth less???

I don't know about the advertising aspects but I wouldn't let my wife set on the hood of my truck no matter what kind of paint job I had. There is a pic on this ebay sale where she is on top of the hood.

The seller had her sit on the hood because the hinges are worn and the hood does not close all the way in the back near the cowl.
Quote:
The hood and rear bumper need minor adjustment
Then by having her sit on the passenger side to correct this he then made the drivers side hinge come out alignment for the pic.

Wow.

Is that a factory 1 ton? The front didn't even sag with all that weight.

You shouldn't talk like that about any girl, if you have a GF or wife, you wouldn't like it if somebody called her that, even if she wasn't sitting on a hood.

Ok, back to the truck, I don't think that the truck is what the guy says it is, so much for a restoration, at least he choose a chevy to work on.
