Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

UKNOWME if the truck is going to my dealer then it will stay as is. But If I go on the open market with it I will take it to a little higher level truck. I'll change the drop kit, seat, dash pad, and maybe a blazer bumper.

I finally had a few minutes to pull the truck out and get a better look with the wheels and tires.

Are you still using the 285's on the rear? I know your other builds had the smaller tires. Looks great like always.

What brand are you using now? I don’t see a 285 with the Desert Hawk tire.

Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

UKNOWME I'm using a Venezia 245/45 and a 285/50, but you can get the same size in the Desert Hawk as I've bought them before. The Venezia tires have a matching side wall but the center tread is a little different.

Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

This project is finally finished and hopefully heading to its new owner next week. I just finished a little detail work in the inner fenders and engine compartment. I also had some paint and bodywork finished earlier this week. All in all it turned out to be a real nice truck that was a easy project. So after a quick photoshoot the hunt for the next one starts now.

Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

Turned out great even without having to do the extra mods! Congrats on the sale and as always I’ll be eagerly anticipating the next one.

Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

Truck turned out very nice. But I have to admit, I don't like that single headlight setup and grille. I really like seeing the Bowtie on the grille. I know it's just my opinion, well more like my preference. Everyone has their own

+1 I agree... it is missing the bowtie for sure! Kinda looks naked without it.

Super nice though...

Re: 1986 C10 Project "Winchester"

Did you sell this one yet, Bobby? I've been meaning to text you. I pass a super clean one sitting on Hwy 109 in Wilson County every day on the way to and from work. Not sure it is for sale but I'll get you the address.
