Care to share the process, or how you learned? That's something I'd like to be able to do. It would open up a lot of possibilities for customization.

Truck is looking good!

It's really just heating the abs evenly on both sides trying not to blister or burn it. That and you want to focus heat all the way around what your trying to shape. I'm going to make cab corner feeler panels in a couple weeks and probably kick panels as well. I do know that a 4x8x1/8" sheet runs on average of $65

Oh...update thread just got in from exhaust shop with Irvin and very pleased!

Yeah right- you just spent a bunch of time with a heat gun and your wife's Tupperware! You're spending as much time out in the garage as you are because she's making you sleep out there right now!!!

(Here's a tip: Something for the truck is NOT a good valentine's day gift for HER)

( Don't tell her I said that!!)

I bought her exhaust for valentines and I figured a steak as well....maybe she'll want 2 steaks. The flat one and round one

I'm trying to find my wife one of the new Glock 42's for valentines/her b-day this month. It'd be ironic if she used to eventually shoot me.

I bought mine one and she wouldn't even touch it. So I sold it and bought me another. Lol
Yeah that wouldn't be good

Ben, what did u use for heat shield in cab, Dyna Mat? I guess I missed it somewhere. There are so many companies now, they sell sound deadner then heat to go over that, it gets confusing.

What I used you can buy at lowes hardware. It's a heat shield with some sound deadening to it but I'll be using abs and carpet for rest of it.

How do the round mufflers sound? Looks like they don't take up near as much room as the flowmasters.

If I could upload a video easily I would. I have them posted on Facebook and Instagram, but that won't do any good here. But I will say they are loud but I love the sound they create. Very pleased and tuck up nicely

Got trim polished, painted and installed on passenger side and grill installed today. Hopefully the snow comes and I can button up the driver side and few little things under hood this week

After some thought, sorry if it looked like I was being a smartass in closing last night. You know I'm liking your truck.

Re: Project "Irvin"

Door panels are on with cranks and levers. Originals cleaned up great. And ditched the wood grain inserts and kept the chrome. Calling for 10" of snow here so I may lay the carpet in tomorrow.

Looking good Ben, did u get my PM? I think I sent u two. We got snow yesterday, snow and sleet today, so we'll be in maybe the balance of the wk. Wouldn't mind if my trk was here, but it's about 5 miles away, I least it's inside were it's snug and warm.
