I also bought some white face overlays on ebay for $23

No problem, here's another tip since you're going that route. Go to autozone.com and register then put in the model of aveo you got and you can find and print off the schematics just for the cluster. Alot cheaper than buying a whole hayes/chiltons book. Another cool thing about the set up is you only have to have two long treaded bolts to hold it in place. In this picture you can see one of them.

I'm looking, but not finding the schematic. Is it under "Repair Info"? Wonder if it's the same information as here:

That site of yours is really close, the schematics are a little more complicated to read in my opinion. You will look at Vehicle repair guides at the Auto zone site. If you can't find them pm me you email address and I will send you a copy of what I have.

Look'n nice i also have a LT1 i wanna put in my 69 but im confuse about the harness on where 2 start, the motor is still in the car its a 96 buick Roadmaster

This site has all the help you need, go to http://www.lt1swap.com/. Also you can go to the painless site and download their harness manual for your application. Trust me I've searched high and low for help with this LT1. I didn't know the first thing about reading a schematic when I started but one day it just hit me and the light bulb went off.

Well, not that easy for me. It was intimidating for me as I cut the wire loom off and seeing ALL those wires laying on my dining room table. You should have seen me the day I figured out that those copper strips illuminated in plastic on the back of the S10 gauge were "actually" like wires. It was an AH HA moment.

Not much work on it lately, to HOT in the tin roofed shop w/ no insulation. And I am trying to get our new fellowship hall finished at church so we can get our CoO. Then it's full throttle on the truck, hopefully have it drivable in time for fall Rod Run.

Been getting some more accomplished on "Fred", body work is done except sanding and re priming then paint for dash/cab & firewall. I changed my rear fenders and skirts to the original ones so most everything will match for patina.

Great lookin truck! Sorry off the subject but I was wondering if you could tell me what motor mounting brackets you used for your LT1? I want to mount mine in the same location,I don't know what happened to my original S10 transmission cross member, I am going to try to use the one for the throw out bearing and mount it in the same spot.Any help is greatly appreciated
