If you are running the original horn contact, it should cancel your turn signal

Yes, I repaint or powder coat the column and my turn around time is about 2 weeks

Thanks for the info. $200.00 to rebuild and paint sounds like a bargain.

Do you have one in olive green? If not, how much to change the color of one of your van tilts?

All the prices I give are for black columns. I don't paint any columns a specific color until someone want one painted that way. Buy the time I buy the paint for a specific color it will run an extra $75

ok, thank you. i bought my tilt column from a guy local to me who said it was the correct truck tilt. it looks to be correct but what do i know. what doesnt make sence to me is the nut that holds the steering wheel on (i have the original from my non tilt, and bought another from lmc thinking maybe tilt was a different one) is to small for the shaft.

Re: Who's ready for a beautiful tilt column?

For any of you that want to buy a column from 70shortstep, rest assured you will get a quality piece. Mine came packaged in a very well built crate with lots of packing and even had a recessed hole drilled in each end for the steering wheel shaft and for the shaft on the other end. The column could not move in the crate even if it wanted to. Then, it was put into a box made to fit the crate. Very well done and the column is beautiful!!!! Sorry for the crappy pics but you get the idea.
..........................................................................................
Les, package arrived today and thanks for taking the time and care to pack it like you did. Outstanding job
Again, thanks
Tim
