That's great. I've wanted to come visit but didn't know what I could rent to drive. Can't be rollin' in no stnkin' modern age econobox with you and your bunch.

Good to see you around. I even kinda like the truck

Hypothetically let's suppose you had someone rent said truck and they didn't return it...I, I mean that it came up missing...is there a low dollar insurance that I, um, a friend could purchase that would cover him?
Ok. It would be coverage for me
Love the update, Rene!!!

Hey Rene I don’t know if you remember me, I met you at the Stockton swap meet years ago. I was from the Ione area. I had the white 69 long bed LS. Well I retired DOC in 17 and relocated out of Cal. I’ve been back and forth several times. I miss my friends but not the state. Nice truck as usual. You always have the right niche for these trucks. Thought I just say Hi.

Great job Rene. Very creative idea and the base color fits perfect.
Question, did you misspell 'finest' on the tailgate ? on purpose ?

My friend who has been doing lettering since the '70s stopped smoking weed when he kept misspelling stuff and getting phone numbers wrong

Hahaha The artist "pin striper" who did it copied the old ad "word for word" and "letter for letter" I would have prefer it spelled correctly but.... now's its a nice conversion piece I guess.
