Under hood paint

I recently bought a 72 Super. Low mileage original. Would the hood come painted black on the back side? Also the stricker & latch on one door are black & the other side are the natural metal color.

Underside of the hood is black. The latch and striker on the door are black phosphate. Funny stuff happened and plants often differed from each other on different things (like hardware)...and from themselves at times depending on stock. But these elements are pretty consistent.
