Think I found my trucks vibration

Had to pull the trans yesterday for a rebuild today was tinkering on pulling the engine to do the pan gasket and rear main. Looking around I noticed the right motor mount is resting on the frame. I got a picture of it can't even fit a thin piece feeler gauge between it and the frame. This doesnt look normal to me . I can't get the second picture to rotate

Re: Think I found my trucks vibration

This is how my other truck looks. I know it's a 6 but the mount should have a small gap like this correct.

Rotated pic.

It shouldn't be metal to metal.

I'm gonna be doing the pan gasket and rear main seal soon so keep us posted on how you make out. I haven't changed a rear main in a 6 since the 70's so I'm interested to see if there is any improvements in seal and installation. Thanks
