Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Playing around with the idea of faux patina... here is my first crack at it. I still need to sand the vertical lines and corners then matte clear it but... what do you think? Should I do the whole truck?

I think I am gonna do the whole truck using the spray bomb method... then go from there. I need to get off my ass and get a better welder so I can finally put my bags in now that my truck is legal and I can do it without the DMV black balling my truck due to a cut frame. LOL

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Yeah, it was ordered here in Hawaii at Aloha Motors so, there is no need fo r heat... defrost would be nice but, it sits in the garage so, dont really need it... The OG owner ordered it bare bones. If you look back, I have pic of the options sheet in the dash... I got the truck from the original owners son.

Love those wheels and jealous that you've got bikes loaded!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Yeah, they are loaded BUT, they are on there to make room in my garage! I am going on travel and I wanted to give the Mrs and the kids access to the kayak and surfboards without moving the bikes to get to them.
Thanks for the props on the wheels, I love them too... I have been working on polishing them but, patients isnt one of my better qualities. LOL They looked like $hit when I got them.

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Thank you... I figured that would be a very odd option like I mentioned, it's not all that useful in Hawaii. When I was cleaning up my firewall, I debated just smoothing it all out but, I wanted the keep the notoriety of the delete panels.

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
I wonder how many trucks in 67 had the heater delete? On all the rarest option threads, it isn't even mentioned.

Sweet truck and great story! I can tell you this on the dash and firewall heater delete panels, they are worth a fortune!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Cool truck. Mine had a stepside on as well, getting a fleet was the first thing on the list.
I was navy also, 99-03 Everett, WA. You must be a senior or master chief by now!?

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Thanks bro. Thankfully, I got those wheels on the cheap. I have my steelies too but I am torn if I want to rock white walls or keep the 20x10s. I need to buy tires and they're about a grand for 20s and a grand for wide whites...
As for the Navy, I am a Chief, getting close to HYT. It's tough to pick up Senior in my rate. Gotta cure cancer n kiss baby's... Lol Hey, what's up with Street Outlaws? Do you guys really have the fastest street cars? I am so addicted to that show! Haha

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
I ordered my tires from SummitRacing.com I paid $800 free shipping, I'm not sure if they offer free shipping to Hawaii though. You might want to check them out.
Yeah, those street outlaws sure are claiming to be the fastest. When the show first aired, I was thinking "yeah, right!" But it looks as though they're whoopin up on every group that challenges them.

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Thanks bro... I can't wait to make some progress on the body work and bag job. The Mrs doesn't know it but I am about to order some MMW A-arms to get the front end where it needs to be.
I figured you would comment about the bikes loaded up.
