Kick Down on TH400
When is the switch for a th400 kickdown supposed to engage?
Is it right at WOT (wide open throttle)? Or at some point before WOT? I bought a Lokar KD-2400HT72 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-kd-2400ht72 I'm trying to understand how it works, because it seems to me that it engages the switch well before WOT. |

Re: Kick Down on TH400
Mine engages just before the pedal hits the floor. There is usually some adjustment. OR you can elongate the mounting holes to give it some. Really thick carpet?

Re: Kick Down on TH400
Thanks Kwmech,
I'm thinking its best to test drive and adjust until I like when it kicks down in relation to the pedal. |

Re: Kick Down on TH400
Suggest you run an inline fuse before the switch just in case a wire shorts out etc...
