89 s10 blazer w/v8 swap help

i just put a v8 in my 89 blazer evry thing works fine but i do have some issues one, the throttle cable is to short for the carb its to short and i had to wire it so ill have a throtle ,second sombody had put a differnt tranny in it what kind of tranny can i put in it so ill have a speedo and a kick down cable



69 swb w/saginaw 4 spd
70 c10 (gone gone)
87 blazer (also gone gone)
89 s10 blazer w/a v8

350 Short Tail Shaft.and The Throttle Cable Off Of A Blazer With A 4.3 Should Work.
