Mine has neither
Any way to get a few measurements?

Have you checked on the inside of the door for the nuts on the drivers side? I have heard that even the trucks that didn’t come with the normal mirrors still have the nuts attached to the inside even though the mettle was not drilled from the outside.

This post has some measurements from a factory issued drawing for a ‘63 but there is enough useful information to get the mirrors where they need to be.

Re: 66 C10 Door Mirrors

It has been my observation over the years that the passengers side is not in the exact same spot as the drivers. They seem to sit further back so as to avoid the viewing obstruction caused by the wing window pillar. If you have no factory nuts on the inside of the door it would be good to get a helper to hold the mirror in various locations while you sit in driving position. Then when you find the optimal spot the helper can mark it with a soft crayon. I only have a factory drivers mirror and there are no mounting provisions inside my passenger's door. Here are a few pics from my '66 for driver's side reference...

Re: 66 C10 Door Mirrors

About all I can add is that on my RH door the mirror is about 1/4" more forward than on the left. It has the nuts welded on the inside.

I'm on a pixel now and Mac computer so will need help from my son to figure out the pictures.
