I would say, first thing is to determine if the engine will turn over. before you do turn it over much, pull the plugs and squirt some marvel mystery oil in each cylinder to help lubricate it, and loosen up the rings. Next I would change the oil and filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and fuel filter. also check the points, and replace those and the condenser if needed. Then get some fresh gas into the carb and see if she fires.
