Really the only company that makes tires for the 16.5 rim is http://www.intercotire.com/ but even then your options are still limited.

Re: 35x12.5.x16.5 tires

I just bought a set of the BFGs from Discount Tire for $900 and got two $100 VISA gift cards back. $700 for a set of these tires is a pretty good deal!

You may want to give Discount Tire a call. I bought mine about two months ago and they had to wait for BFG to make them and it only took a little over a week. Mine are not the new KOs, they are the originals.

Did you check the dot # and dates on those. Originals have smooth side tread, 2nd style has side ridges, now they have a newer style I here

I called a couple discount tires no luck so far

I am out of town right now so I can't double check but here is the clearest picture of what I bought but I know they are not marked as "KO".

Re: 35x12.5.x16.5 tires

Those appear to be the second style. That's what I have and I saved some of my old 1st style that still have alittle tread

Got calls back from 3 tire shops. They said BFG has not got a production date , just get 'maybe' in 10 weeks. If been hearing that since january. So I dont think they are even going to make them anymore

What is the ph # of the tire shop you got them from?
Florida?
Ill call and ask them, for the heck of it....Im in the West

Re: 35x12.5.x16.5 tires

If you need tires now i would buy a cheap set of 16 inch steel rims and get tires for them.If you can wait it out then do that its cheaper not buying rims unless you gotta.

Re: 35x12.5.x16.5 tires

It looks like I will have to buy some 16" rims when my tires are worn out. I went through this with Bridgestone a few years ago. They say "we may be making a run in a few weeks". After 2 years they decide to discontinue them. They probably think nobody is buying them but in reality they aren't available to buy.

I think the 16.5's are easier to mount with a tire iron if you are out in the boonies, but I rarely play in the boonies any more.

If it wasn't for the h1 beadlocks being a 16.5 i don't think anyone would make tires for that rim size anymore.

I bought a set of 35x12.5r16.5 BFG's last fall because I heard they were discontinuing them at the end of the year 2014. I don't know if that is true or not.
