Sold for $55,000

As the title says...

Beautiful truck. I'd have to say, probably well worth the money.

He finally settled for 55k. Originally he passed on that offer. Someone got a really nice truck at a good price.

Re: Sold for $55,000

Even if you only paid $50 per hour to have that truck built I bet it was over $100k. I have a full custom build planned and it wil have over 500hrs of body work and paint alone. Then figure in mechanical work and parts, interior, tires, wheels, glass and trim plus thousands in misc parts and pieces. I have asked my self several times why I even want to start such a project. I have never come up with a good reason so I just stopped asking

So your going to drive it in the rain.. or in the cold.. I am not really knocking what your saying, but I have built quite a few nice high end projects in my time and wipers and heaters are not in the program good AC usually is.. I flew over the listing I would do a couple things different, But there is no way possible you can build that for 55 grand period!

On another note that can lead to a whole new subject, I was looking at a "POS" 72 SWB fleet and the guy told me ten grand with the for sale sign in the window... I said no thanks his respoce was well they go for 55 grand.....

Re: Sold for $55,000

not sure if it's worth 55K or not, but the guy should buy a spell checker with the funds, he probably would got a few grand more.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

"Every peace of wireing was replaced with painless wireing"

"plenty to cruse"

"ceramic coated inside & out that run out to the bach side of the rear tires"

"rear end to handle the monter tires"

and of course the best for last...

"Air ride techknogely"

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I agree - you are trying to present the best side of the vehicle and you can't spell - not just one or two words, but a lot - you would think he would have someone read over it for errors - if someone is that meticulous on a vehicle, you think it would be reflected on how they presented that vehicle. Just my opinion.

Holy cow... Are you made of money. The truck you built is killer... The one on ebay doesn't have much on yours. Speaking of which, we should try to get together sometime this season... I'd love to see your truck in person.

All the rock throwers need to read this. I have beat this drum for years but all I get is " I could build three trucks for that". NO you can't build three, you can't even build one of this caliber.
