Sorry need help ID this rear end

I have this 3/4 ton frame I just picked up for some other parts and I am told that this rear end is a high speed rear end. It is of no use to me as i have a leaf spring dana 60 in my truck. Just want to give a accurate description of what I am planning to sell. I can not find a 60 number on this axle. I am assuming that this is a dana 60 for a spring setup and mine is a dana 60 for a leaf setup.

Should be a number cast into the web of the center section just below and to the right of the fill plug. (where all of the grease is)

To determine the ratio you might check this thread out.

It's a dana 60 for a coil spring suspension. To determine the ratio, pull the cover and check the stamping on the ring gear. Just divide it out to get the ratio. In this case, 37/9 = 4.10

Ok thanks for the pointers and help. I power washed it today and font in two places a 60-3B or 60-38 and what looks like a casting number C34950. But have been all over the axle tubes and can't find any more stamped numbers.

I tried to get the pics right, I always take then the same way but they turn upside down sometimes. I rotated the file on my computer, will try it out hope this works.

Did you check on the front of the center section up by the pinion (pic in post #19 in the link I posted) If there isn't anything there then you will probably have to pull the rear cover to check the ratio, as taibo suggested.....

No not really, '72 Chevy C/20s used the Dana 5500 (Dana 60) in 3.54, 4.10 and 4.56:1 ratios depending on the model engine and transmission. It all depends on how much you are trying to move and how fast.
