1972 k20

Hey guys,

I just picked up my first of the 67-72 series K20 trucks! I am very excited, this body style has been my dream truck. I have had a handful of C10's throughout my life but always wanted a 4WD.

I'm looking for some information regarding a better riding suspension setup. I was curious if anyone has lengthened the front springs, if so how did you go about it? I would like to run approximately 4" of lift, crossover steering and will build a panhard bar for the front to improve handling response. The factory leaves ride like a tank, I would like something longer and maybe a leaf pack with more thinner leaf's as opposed to a couple thicker springs.

Looking forward to building this truck! Can't wait to get the project started!

Thanks!!
