Heater blower stopped working with AC Delete

My 71 Chevy came with AC. I swapped out the Ac heater box for a non AC heater box from ACdelete.com. Problem now is the heater blower won't turn on. The only brown wire plugged back into the fan, and I have this one plug that isn't connected. Where should I start looking for the problem? I really need the defroster to work!!

Re: Heater blower stopped working with AC Delete

Pictures would help.
Is the heater resistor plugged up?
Did the kit include the resistor ?

Here is a wiring diagram: http://www.chrismeadtattoos.com/wiri...ruckwiring.jpg

Re: Heater blower stopped working with AC Delete

Did you connect the ground wire to blower motor housing when you changed the outer firewall housing?

Re: Heater blower stopped working with AC Delete

Since you had AC and need defroster power you might consider using your old AC blower motor and some of the old AC wiring to give your heat/defroster blower an upgrade. I got about 80% more airflow over my old blower when I was done.

Link is to how I did mine. Starting at post 871 on continuing on to the next page.

And as other folks have said we need more information. What wires have you connected to what would be a good start.
