flat spotted tires...

.

I let my truck sit in the same spot long enough to severely flat spot my tires ( 255/40/20 and 295/40/20, steel belted ). Any speed over 65-70 felt like all 4 tires were badly out of balance. I've been driving it like this waiting on some hot days since late last summer.

The last couple days have given me some good warm roads to drive on in my quest fix them. Before this warm weather, I had driven lots of miles at near max PSI and was able to move the speed barrier up to about 75mph. However now I've found 80 and even 90 to be smooth after my last few blasts down the tollway!

My tires are round again!

Re: flat spotted tires...

Congrats! My 85 K20 has perfect tires on it and still feels like it's coming apart at 75mph. If I could even approach 90, it just might shell out! lol
