If you see an orange and white '68...
Heading from UT to MO in the next few days...
IT IS MINE!!! Super stoked to FINALLY have one on its way after almost a year of looking!! Driveable as is, but lots to do before I retire the 'ol minivan and make it my daily driver. ***happy dance*** (everyone asks WHY I wanted a classic 'burb, while I am guessing that isn't much of an issue here, I will explain anyway! We have three small, but growing kiddos and a big ol slobbery bloodhound. I was content going with another minivan, but my husband loathes them, even moreso he despises working on them. He refused. But alas, I am a cheapskate and refused to pay over $15k for a newer 'burb with over 100k miles. Insane in my little brain. So, this was our compromise. It joins 3 (yard ornament) 70-72 trucks. Two Chevy one GMC.) Last edited by 70cst; 10-08-2013 at 12:49 AM. |

Congrats!
2WD or 4WD? I had a '72 2WD many years ago. I still kick myself for selling it. My favorite vehicle. I thought it road and drove similar to newer Burbs plus it was bigger on the inside. Post pics when you get it.

1/2t 2wd with a small block 400. Will be swapping that out for something a bit more economical LOL!

I'm sure I won't see it on the road since I live in central Iowa but welcome to the board and post some pictures when you get a chance. I'll happy dance with you anyway..... LockDoc

Well how did you find this 68 you speak of? I have not seen one around that I recall
I am on the hunt for a burb and let a jewel get away last fall. A guy in NC bought it I believe and I saw it on here. It was a 71 c10 white with green interior. I did run into two in a guys yard today and am going to head back tomorrow for a follow up visit.

Re: If you see an orange and white '68...
I found it Ebay.
I think my saving grace was that it is GMC, which requires a separate search They don't seem to get as much activity because of it. |
