65 c10 cab
Hey all started to work on my truck.l am by no means a body guy! My question is my cab mounts are gone up to the frame rails,could I leave the door attached and weld in new cab mounts along with inner and outer rockers to get the right placement? Thanks

I recently did all that on my '61, video here:
If I were to do it again, I would hang the door, and weld in the outer rocker first, then fit the inner rocker and floor, then the cab mounts. If your doors need repair, do those first. But.... I am no pro at this. ... I'm just not completely afraid to get in there and try something. Be sure to check out Gibson63 on youtube.

I’d agree with that method. You get the doors squared away and the outer rocker located and make the rest fit to that. Your rocker and door location are vital to everything fitting right and allowing gaps to be properly set.
